A layout that reads beautifully on a laptop can disappear entirely on a forty-metre LED wall. Pixel pitch, viewing distance and ambient light do more to your design than any typeface choice.

Start from the back row

We mock every screen graphic at the real viewing distance before committing to it. If the smallest label cannot be read from the back of the room, it is decoration rather than information.

The practical rule: one idea per state, type no smaller than a fortieth of screen height, and contrast tested against the house lights of the actual venue rather than a dark studio monitor.
