This page explains what Verstack For Marketing and PR L.L.C S.O.C (“Verstack”, “we”), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade licence 1516468), collects when you visit this website or send us an enquiry, and what we do with it. We are responsible for this data. Questions about it go to info@verstack.design.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry (the contact form, or your email in the side panel): your name, email address and company if you give them, the services, budget and timeline you pick, your message, the page you sent it from, and your browser’s user agent (which browser and device you used).
- To stop spam, your IP address is used briefly to limit how many enquiries can be sent in a short time. It is held in memory for a few minutes and not stored.
- Analytics. We use Umami to count visits: pages viewed, the site you came from, your browser, device type and country. It sets no cookies, doesn’t track you across other sites and doesn’t build a profile of you. Your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting is respected.
- In your own browser we remember whether you chose the light or dark theme, and whether you’ve already seen the intro animation in this visit. These stay on your device and are never sent to us.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell or rent personal data.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- Answering your enquiry, discussing your project and preparing a proposal: you ask for this by sending the form, so we process your details to take steps at your request before a possible contract. We won’t add you to a mailing list.
- Keeping the forms free of spam (the short-lived IP check): our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
- Visit statistics: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful, using a tool that doesn’t identify you.
We don’t make automated decisions about you, and we don’t profile visitors.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the website (servers in the United States and Europe).
- Resend delivers enquiries from the website to our inbox (United States).
- Google Workspace runs our email, where enquiries are kept.
- Umami provides the visit statistics.
These providers may store data outside the UAE and the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where the GDPR applies, such transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. We share data with no one else, unless the law requires it.
Some pages may embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo. Those players load from their providers, who may set their own cookies once you play the video.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last conversation, or longer if a project or the law requires it, and then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time. Analytics are kept only as anonymous totals.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), enquiries go straight to our email, and only the Verstack team can read them.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law and, if you are in Europe, the GDPR, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw any consent you gave. Write to info@verstack.design and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the UAE Data Office or, in Europe, to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and isn’t aimed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
